When cabinet refacing works: sound carcasses in older Shire kitchens

Reface kitchen cupboards or rip them out and replace?

When cabinets look dated, the two obvious options are refacing them or ripping them out for flat-pack, and flat-pack is close at hand in the Shire, with IKEA at Tempe only around 20 to 25km up the Princes Highway and Bunnings Kaboodle at Caringbah and Kirrawee. But refacing is a service flat-pack simply does not offer: IKEA and Kaboodle sell whole new modules, not made-to-fit doors for the cabinets you already own.
